CONWAY, S.C. (AP)—Joseph Harris scored 22 points as Coastal Carolina defeated Allen University 97-44 on Saturday.
Harris also added 13 rebounds and four steals for the Chanticleers (5-2). Mario Edwards added 20 points, while Chris Evans scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Coastal Carolina used a 10-2 run to end the first half and held a 44-23 lead at halftime. The Chanticleers went on a 24-3 run to open the second half. A free throw by Edwards capped the run, and Coastal Carolina led 68-26 with 11:22 remaining.
The Yellow Jackets (3-6) were led by Martavious Wimberly, who scored 14 points on 5-for-15 shooting.
The Chanticleers shot 51.4 percent from the field (37-for-72), including 45.5 percent from behind the 3-point arc (5-for-11).
Coastal Carolina outrebounded Allen 60-30. They also scored 62 points in the paint.
