PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (AP)—Darnell Hugee scored 19 points on Saturday night as Prairie View A&M cruised past Schreiner 91-47 in the season opener for both teams.

Michael Griffin had 15 points and went three-for-six from 3-point range for the Panthers, and Grady Green had another 13 points. Christopher Jones racked up 12 assists with five points.

The Mountaineers’ Ralph Turner had 16 points and Colton Kemp helped out with 8 assists.
