CONWAY, Ark. (AP)—Mitch Rueter scored 19 points, and Central Arkansas beat McNeese State 78-69 Saturday night.
The Bears (10-19, 3-13 Southland Conference) snapped a 10-game losing streak — they hadn’t won since a 58-54 victory at McNeese State in January.
John Pichon led McNeese State (11-18, 5-11) with 21 points.
Brooks Taylor scored 15 points for Central Arkansas, and Marcus Pillow added 13. Imad Qahwash had nine points, nine rebounds and five assists.
The Bears led 30-25 at halftime, then shot 61 percent in the second half. Central Arkansas led by as many as 15 in the second.
