PITTSBURGH (AP)—Aaron Jackson put Duquesne ahead for good by making two free throws with 1:06 left, and Duquesne rallied from seven points down late in the second half to beat Saint Louis 70-68 on Wednesday.
Jackson scored 23 points in his final home game, Bill Clark had 19 points, and Eric Evans added 17 for Duquesne (18-10, 9-6 Atlantic 10), which has its most wins in a season since going 20-10 in 1980-81.
The Dukes moved within a half-game of fourth place Temple in the Atlantic 10 and kept alive their hopes for a first-round bye in the conference tournament, which begins March 11 in Atlantic City.
Jackson scored the final 11 points for Duquesne, which trailed 60-53 with 4:09 remaining. He went 7-for-7 from the free-throw line in the final 2:16.
Kevin Lisch scored 23 points, including six 3-pointers, and Kwamain Mitchell had 17 to lead Saint Louis (17-12, 8-7), which dropped to 3-10 on the road.
