KENNESAW, Ga. (AP)—Adnan Hodzic and Brandon Brown each tallied double-doubles as Lipscomb defeated Kennesaw State 61-44 on Sunday.
Hodzic scored 15 points and Brown added 12, while both players grabbed 10 boards apiece, for the Bisons (14-13, 10-8 Atlantic Sun Conference).
Jordan Burgason finished with 13 points and Thomas Pfaff chipped in 10 for Lipscomb. Burgason was 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.
Kurtis Woods paced the Owls (7-20, 3-15) with 13 points.
Leading 11-9 with 10:53 to play in the first half, the Bisons went on a 16-5 from that point to take a 13-point lead at the break. Lipscomb outscored the Kennesaw State, which claimed its only lead of the game on the opening basket, 34-30 in the second to seal the win.
Lipscomb shot 43.8 percent from the field (21 of 48) in the game compared to just a 25.7 percent mark (18 of 70) for the Owls.
