HARTFORD, Conn. (AP)—Emanuel Mayben scored a game-high 15 points to lead Binghamton in a 62-44 drubbing of Hartford on Wednesday night.
It was the sixth win in a row for the Bearcats (18-8, 11-3 America East), who took an early 11-8 lead and had a 36-28 halftime advantange.
The Hawks (6-22, 2-12) got only six field goals in the second half, but they pulled within six points at 48-42 with 8:18 to play. Then Binghamton went on a 14-2 scoring streak that put the game away.
D.J. Rivera had 13 points and 12 rebounds, his sixth double-double of the season for Binghamton.
Michael Turner had 13 for Hartford, and Genesis Maciel added 9.
