NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP)—Alex Zampier scored 13 points to lead three players in double figures as Yale defeated Princeton 60-48 Friday night.
Ross Morin scored 10 points and led all rebounders with 10 boards as Yale outrebounded Princeton 43-23 in the contest. Travis Pinick added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs (9-12, 4-3 Ivy League).
Douglas Davis led Princeton with 11 points including three 3-point field goals. The Tigers fell to 9-9 and 4-1 in the Ivy and watched their seven-game winning streak come to an end.
Yale ended the first half on a 21-7 run to take a 31-20 into intermission. The Bulldogs then scored eight of the first 11 points in the second half to take complete control at 39-23. Yale took its largest lead of the night at 57-33 with eight minutes to play.
