DAVIS, Calif. (AP)—Vince Oliver had 21 points and five assists and David Carter added 13 points to lead UC Davis to an 89-75 win over UC Santa Barbara on Thursday night.
Oliver missed four of his first five shots in the second half, but found his rhythm and scored 13 points to help the Aggies (9-10, 4-2 BWC) pull away. He sank two free throws with 8:57 left to make it 72-62 then later scored on a layup to give Davis a 15-point lead.
Chris Devine scored 27 points and had eight rebounds for Santa Barbara (8-10, 2-4) while Greg Somogyi added 14 points.
