BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP)—Garrett Callahan had five of South Dakota State’s 12 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead the Jackrabbits past IUPUI 83-63 Saturday in the Summit League.
SDSU (8-10, 3-3) was 12-for-22 from 3-point range and shot 61 percent from the field overall. Callahan was 9-for-13.
SDSU shot 65 percent in the first half while holding IUPUI (9-7, 2-3) to 39 percent.
Kai Williams chipped in 16 points, Anthony Cordova added 13 and Clint Sargent 11 for the Jackrabbits. Sargent was 3-for-4 on 3-point attempts.
Robert Glenn led the Jaguars with 18 points. He also had five rebounds to help IUPUI to a 28-24 edge in rebounding.
Gary Patterson added 17 points and Alex Young 10.
