NEW YORK (AP)—Jaytornah Wisseh scored 25 points as Long Island University beat Wagner 76-61 Saturday night for its fourth straight victory.
Wisseh shot 9-for-12 from the field, including 5-for-6 on 3-pointers, for the Blackbirds (8-7, 4-1 Northeast). He also had nine assists, five rebounds and two steals. David Hicks added 16 points.
Justin Drummond scored 16 points to lead the Seahawks (9-6, 2-3). Llew Radford added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
A 3-point basket by Radford gave host Wagner its only lead of the game, 5-3. LIU responded with a 17-5 run to take a 10-point lead with 9:12 left in the first half. The Blackbirds extended the advantage to 34-16 on Arnold Mayorga’s 3 with 4:04 left in the half.
