NEW ORLEANS (AP)—Steven Moore scored 13 points and Arkansas-Little Rock defeated New Orleans 62-46 Saturday night to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since November.
Arkansas-Little Rock (11-5, 4-1 Sun Belt Conference), coming off a 78-77 overtime victory over North Texas on Thursday, handed New Orleans (7-9, 3-3) its first conference loss at home this season.
Despite committing 20 turnovers, the Trojans held the Privateers to their lowest point total of the season since a 54-44 loss to Savannah State on Nov. 22. New Orleans was 5-for-16 from the free-throw line and 19-for-47 from the field (40.4 percent).
Shane Edwards added 11 points for Arkansas-Little Rock, which scored 40 points in the paint. The Trojans shot 25-for-43 from the field (58.1 percent).
Darrian McKinstry scored 17 points off the bench for New Orleans and Kyndall Dykes had 13.
