William & Mary defeats Harvard 67-54
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP)—Quinn McDowell came off the bench for 13 points and 10 rebounds in William & Mary’s 67-54 win over Harvard on Wednesday.
The Tribe (5-6) held Harvard to 35 percent shooting (21-for-60), including 7 of 23 from 3-point range and just 10 assists.
William & Mary outrebounded Harvard (6-6) 50-26 and scored 32 of its points in the paint.
The Tribe shot 48.3 percent (14 of 29) and hit 3 of 6 3-point shots in the first half for a 37-28 halftime lead.
David Schneider paced the Tribe with 16 points, followed by Chris Darnell with 11 and Alex Smith with 10.
Harvard was led by Dan McGreary with 18 points on 7 of 13 shooting, including 4-for-8 from behind the 3-point arc. Max Kenyi added 12 points and four steals for the Crimson.
