CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP)—Calvin Haynes scored a career-high 24 points to lead Oregon State to its fourth straight win, a 59-50 victory over Seattle on Monday.
The Beavers (5-5) have won five of six since snapping a 25-game losing streak on Nov. 30.
Michael Wright led Seattle (7-5) with 12 points and eight rebounds, but fouled out with 4:03 remaining and the Redhawks trailing by three.
Haynes came off the bench to score nine points during a 12-0 first-half run that helped the Beavers overcome a slow start. The sophomore guard shot 6-of-9 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free throw line. He also had five rebounds and three steals.
