POCATELLO, Idaho (AP)—Guard Amorrow Morgan hit a 10-foot jump shot with 1.5 seconds remaining to seal a come-from-behind 61-59 Idaho State victory over Idaho on Monday night.
Idaho State (3-10) overcame a 10-point second-half deficit.
Morgan led the winners with 18 points, and had four assists, three blocked shots and three rebounds. Idaho State guard Matt Stucki added 15 points and had six assists and two blocked shots.
The Idaho Vandals (6-7) were led by guard Mac Hopson’s 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Hopson was called for an offensive foul on an inbounds play with 11.3 seconds left, turning the ball over to Idaho State and setting up the Bengals’ final shot.
Guard Kashif Watson was the Vandals’ second-leading scorer with 10 points. He had four assists.
Idaho led 30-24 at halftime.
