ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Jermaine Taylor scored 21 points to lead Central Florida to an 85-60 win against Valparaiso on Monday night.
Taylor, who hit four 3-pointers in the game’s first six minutes, finished 6-for-8 from beyond the arc for the Knights (6-4). Isaac Sosa came off the bench to add 15 points and Tony Davis finished with 11 points and six rebounds for UCF, which shot 63.3 percent from the floor (31 of 49).
UCF avenged a 17-point loss at Valparaiso (3-8) on Nov. 18.
The Knights led by as many as 35 points in the second half.
Brandon McPherson scored 12 points and Cameron Whitt added 10 for the Crusaders, who suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.
