GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico (AP)—Troy Tabler scored 16 points as Wright State beat Oral Roberts 59-46 in the San Juan Shootout on Saturday.
Tabler shot 5 of 7 for the Raiders (4-7), including 2 of 3 from 3-point range. John David Gardner added 13 points of 5 of 8 shooting.
The Golden Eagles (2-9) were led by Dominique Morrison, who finished with 14 points. Kevin Ford and Kyron Stokes chipped in with 10 points apiece. Ford also added a game-high 10 rebounds.
Wright State shot 36.7 percent from the field (22-for-60), and 78.6 percent from the free-throw line (11-for-14). Oral Roberts shot 26.3 percent (15-for-57), and 60 percent from the free-throw line (12-for-20).
