Nicholls State beats Dillard 87-45

THIBODAUX, La. (AP)—Ryan Bathie scored a game-high 19 points to lead four Nicholls State players in double figures as the Colonels beat Dillard 87-45 on Monday night.
Anatoly Bose and Fred Hunter scored 13 apiece, and Justin Payne added 10 for the Colonels (6-3).
Nicholls State shot 56.3 percent from the field (36 of 64) in a one-sided contest that the Colonels led 50-22 at halftime.
Joshua Mitchell was the only Blue Devils (3-5) player to reach double figures in the contest, scoring 10 points. Mitchell was 2-for-3 from beyond the arc.
The Blue Devils shot 36.8 percent (14 of 38) in the loss.
