Tulsa beats Presbyterian 62-48

TULSA, Okla. (AP)—Bishop Wheatley scored a career-high 12 points and Tulsa extended its home win streak to 17 games with a 62-48 win over Presbyterian Sunday.

Ben Uzoh and Jerome Jordan also each scored 12 for the Hurricane (6-4), which won its 27th straight non-conference home game.

Al’Lonzo Coleman scored 16 points to lead the Blue Hose (4-5), including 14 in the first half.

The score was tied 27-27 at halftime, and Presbyterian kept it close until Tulsa went on a 15-5 run midway through the second half.

A steal and dunk by Uzoh gave Tulsa a 47-41 lead, and Jordan followed that with a 3-point play to put Tulsa up 50-41 with 6:17 remaining.

Besides his 12 points, Jordan had eight rebounds, four blocked shots and a team-high five assists for the Hurricane.
