Florida Atlantic defeats SE Louisiana 72-56

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP)—Paul Graham scored 19 points and Florida Atlantic defeated Southeastern Louisiana 72-56 on Saturday night.

The Owls (4-5) shot a season high 59 percent from the floor (29 of 49), as Graham made 9 of 16 of his field goals.

Shavar Richardson added 13 points and Sammy Hernandez scored 10 off the bench for Florida Atlantic.

The Owls led 32-30 at halftime, before Southeastern Louisiana (4-4) tied the score at 38-38 with 16:20 to left in the game.

Florida Atlantic then went on an 18-2 run, including 12 unanswered points, to claim a 56-40 lead with 10:47 left to play on two Alex Tucker free throws.

The Lions were paced by 19 points from Patrick Sullivan, followed by Kevyn Green with 15 and Warrell Span with 10.

Florida Atlantic has won all three of its home games and improves to 35-7 at home in the last three seasons.
