OXFORD, Ohio (AP)—Michael Bramos had 26 points, including six 3-pointers, as Miami of Ohio dominated Wisconsin-Milwaukee 69-45 on Thursday night.
Milwaukee (5-5) kept it close to start, holding a one-point lead with 9:43 to play in the first half, but Miami (5-3) outscored the Panthers 23-4 to head into the break with a 35-17 lead.
Milwaukee had a six-point spurt in the second half to come within 13, but Miami used an 8-0 run to pull to a 30-point lead with 2:46 left to play.
Carl Richburg scored 14 for the RedHawks, and Tyler Dierkers had 10 rebounds. Milwaukee was led in scoring by Avery Smith, Tone Boyle and Charlie Swiggett, who had eight apiece.
Milwaukee shot 32.1 percent from the field to Miami’s 39.4 percent, and had 15 turnovers to Miami’s nine.
