JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP)—Andy Wicke scored 17 points to lead three other players in double figures and Belmont defeated North Florida 89-55 on Saturday.
Keaton Belcher added 13 points for the Bruins (3-3). Shane Dansby scored 12 points and Drew Hanlen added 11.
Kyle Groothuis scored 11 points for the Ospreys (0-7), while Cortez Riley added 10.
Belmont shot 59.2 percent from the field (29-for-49), and 60 percent from 3-point range (15-for-25). Alex Renfroe had six assists in 13 minutes for the Bruins, who finished with a total of 22 assists.
North Florida shot 39.3 percent from the field (22-for-56). The Ospreys also had 18 turnovers.
