OXFORD, Ohio (AP)—Michael Bramos scored 31 points including all but two of the points in a pivotal 16-4 second-half run to lead Miami (Ohio) to a 94-66 victory over Northwestern State on Saturday.
Bramos hit 8 of 11 shots behind the arc as the RedHawks (4-3) hit 11 of 20.
Tyler Dierkers added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Kenny Hayes scored 11 points.
Keithan Hancock had 15 points off the bench for Northwestern State (4-4).
Leading just 38-37 after a layup by Northwestern State’s Devin Clark at the 18:01 mark of the second half, Miami scored 16 of the next 20 points—with Bramos hitting two 3-pointers and two free throws in an 8-0 run to start the spurt. He later hit two more 3s.
The lead never fell below double figures again.
