HAMDEN, Conn. (AP)—D.J. Rivera and Dwayne Jackson both scored 17 points to lead Binghamton to a 74-58 win over Quinnipiac on Monday night.
Reggie Fuller added 12 points and Malik Alvin had 11 for Binghamton (3-2), which limited the Bobcats to just six field goals in the second half.
Binghamton’s pressure defense forced 16 turnovers and the Bearcats had nine steals.
Jackson hit three three-pointers in a 13-4 run as the Bearcats broke open a close game to win going away.
Quinnipiac (3-3) got 15 points apiece from Justin Rutty and James Feldeine.
The Bobcats took a led 30-29 at half after outrebounding Binghamton 26-13 but the second half was a different story. The Bearcats dominated the boards in the second half grabbing 16 offensive rebounds.
