COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Darnell Lindsay scored 19 points to lead Tennessee Tech to a 78-71 win against Lipscomb on Monday night.
Frank Davis scored 13 for the Golden Eagles (5-1), and Will Barnes and Kevin Murphy added 10 apiece. Daniel Northern added nine points and a game-high six blocks for the Golden Eagles, who blocked 10 shots compared to one by the Bisons (2-3).
The Golden Eagles shot 47.5 percent (29 of 61) from the field in the game.
Adnan Hodzic scored a game-high 21 points for Lipscomb, which shot 43.3 percent (29 of 67) in the loss. Jimmy Oden added 15 points and Brandon Brown chipped in with 14. Brown and Hodzic each had a game-high nine rebounds.
Tennessee Tech capitalized on 21 Lipscomb turnovers en route to victory.
