LAS VEGAS (AP)—Joshua Dwane had a game-high 21 points to lead North Carolina A&T to a 72-60 victory against Coastal Carolina at the Global Sports Classic on Saturday.
North Carolina A&T (4-3) led by one point at halftime, but scored the first five points of the second half and eventually built the lead to 49-38 on a Dwane 3-pointer with 7:46 to play.
Tavarus Alston added 13 points for North Carolina A&T, while Robert Johnson had 12 points and Thomas Coleman contributed 10.
Coastal Carolina (1-5) shot 40 percent including 8 of 26 on 3-pointers. Anthony Breeze had a team-high 15 points and Joseph Harris had 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
