IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP)—Freshman Anthony Tucker scored 14 points and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds as Iowa pounded Southeast Missouri State 75-41 on Tuesday night and improved to 5-0.

Matt Gatens added 12 points for the Hawkeyes, who led by double digits for the final 34 minutes en route to their most lopsided win of the season.

Southeast Missouri State got as close as 13 early in the second half. But Tucker hit a 3 well beyond the line to cap a 19-6 run and put the Hawkeyes back ahead 54-28 with 9:44 left.

Calvin Williams had 10 points to lead Southeast Missouri State (1-3).

Iowa had earlier struggled to put away Texas-San Antonio and Oakland. That wasn’t a problem against Southeast Missouri State, which shot 20 percent from the floor in the first half.

The Hawkeyes buried four 3s in the first 10 minutes and held the Redhawks to just one field goal during that stretch, jumping ahead 20-5. Iowa led by as much as 33-13 in the opening half.
