Wittman scores 19 to lead Cornell past E Michigan

NEW YORK (AP)—Ryan Wittman scored 19 points and Jeff Foote and Geoff Reeves each had 15 to help Cornell beat Eastern Michigan 67-54 on Tuesday in the Preseason NIT Tip-off consolation game.

Trailing by eight midway through the first half, Cornell used a 19-8 run to take a 31-28 lead at the half.

Foote took over in the second half, and finished the game 7-for-8 from the field.

Brandon Bowdry and L.J. Frazier each scored 11 points to lead Eastern Michigan (1-5).
