TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP)—Dominique Johnson and Eric Tramiel each had 17 points as North Texas beat Indiana St. 80-69 on Sunday.

Josh White added 16 for the Mean Green (3-1) and helped the team open up a 14-point lead late in the game. North Texas went on a 10-0 run with four minutes left in the game and made 13-of-14 free throws in the final minutes to keep the Sycamores at bay.

Carl Richard led Indiana St. (0-2) with 17 points, while Josh Crawford added 16.
