Davis leads Princeton past Army

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP)—Doug Davis scored 19 points to lead Princeton to a 55-43 victory over Army on Sunday.

Davis shot 8-for-11 from the floor, including two 3-pointers, for the Tigers (1-2). Kareem Maddox added nine points and five rebounds.

Nathan Hedgecock scored nine points for the Black Knights (1-3). Marcus Nelson had eight points and six rebounds.

Army led 26-25 at the half, but made just six of 25 shots after that, while Princeton shot almost 48 percent.
