Gibson scores 20 to lead UTSA to 65-51 win over Texas A&M-CC

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (AP)—Devin Gibson scored 20 points and Joey Shank had 11 to lead Texas-San Antonio past Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 65-51 on Saturday night.

Melvin Smith added 10 points for for UTSA (13-14, 7-7 Southland Conference).

Justin Reynolds scored 10 points and was the only player in double figures for TAMU-CC (8-19, 5-9).

UTSA scored 23 points off 21 turnovers by the Islanders, who made just three of 15 3-point attempts.
