DOVER, Del. (AP)—Leslie Robinson scored a game-high 22 points and Lamar Twitty contributed 18 points, and Florida A&M defeated Delaware State 70-58 Monday night.
Delaware State (12-14, 9-5 MEAC) held a 29-28 lead at the half, but the Rattlers (11-16, 7-7) opened the second half with 11-0 run and took a 10-point 39-29 lead with 17:28 left.
The Hornets shot 26.5 percent from the floor in the second half, including 2 of 12 from behind the arc. On the other side, the Rattlers shot 61.1 percent from the floor in the second half.
Roy Bright landed 22 points and Donald Johnson added 16 points for Delaware State.
