OXFORD, Ohio (AP)—Tim Pollitz scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season Wednesday night as Miami of Ohio beat Toledo 76-47.
The RedHawks (11-10, 5-4 Mid-American) took their first lead, 7-4, at the 14:36 mark and never trailed again.
Kenny Hayes scored 21 points for the RedHawks. Nick Winbush had 10 points and Tyler Dierkers added eight points and nine rebounds.
Toledo (7-14, 4-5), which shot just 31 percent, was led by Tyrone Kent with 13 points and Ridley Johnson with 10.
Miami outrebounded Toledo 46-24. Its 76 points were the most scored by the RedHawks this season.
