Princeton beats Harvard for third straight win

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP)—Kyle Koncz scored 24 points to lead Princeton to a 68-54 win over Harvard on Saturday night.

Lincoln Gunn added 17 points for the Tigers (5-12, 2-0 Ivy League), including a 3-pointer late in the second half that gave his team the lead for good. It was one of a dozen 3-pointers on the night for Princeton, which won its third straight game.

Jeremy Lin had 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Crimson (6-14, 1-3), while Brad Unger finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

The teams traded baskets for most of the game, with Harvard holding a 33-31 lead at the break. The Crimson then maintained the lead for most of the second half until Gunn hit his 3-pointer with 5:40 left, as Princeton closed the game with a 20-5 run.

Princeton also won the battle of the boards, outrebounding Harvard 29-28.
