GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP)—Steven Rush scored 24 points and North Carolina A&T made 13 3-pointers in a 72-56 victory against Howard on Saturday.
Austin Ewing and Ed Jones both had 16 points for the Aggies (11-9, 5-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who extended their winning streak to six games — their longest such streak in 12 seasons.
Thomas Coleman added 10 points for North Carolina A&T, which shot 48.9 percent and were 13 for 20 from beyond the arc in the victory.
Randy Hampton had 19 points and Eugene Myatt added 13 for Howard (5-16, 2-5), which has lost 12 of 14.
North Carolina A&T led 47-32 at halftime.
