Home court remains good to Presbyterian in 92-45 win
CLINTON, S.C. (AP)—Ryan Lamb and Josh Johnson each scored 18 points to lead Presbyterian to a 92-45 win over Allen on Tuesday night.
The Blue Hose (3-21) are undefeated at home, but are playing just five games this season in Clinton as they move into Division I. They have lost all 21 of their road games so far.
Presbyterian pulled down 52 rebounds, 27 more than Allen (2-15). The Blue Hose shot 54.1 percent (33-of-61) from the field, compared to 28.3 percent (17-of-60) for Allen.
Presbyterian led 43-16 at half.
Karim Rodriquez led Allen with nine points, while Hiram Carolina added seven points and eight rebounds.
Odist Harmon, Walt Allen and Bryan Bostic scored 10 points apiece for the Blue Hose, while Johnson pulled down 10 rebounds.
Presbyterian has 20 straight wins over NAIA member Allen going back nearly 30 years to when the Blue Hose were NAIA members too.
