LITTLE ROCK (AP)—De’Andre Eggins scored 14 points to help Arkansas-Little Rock escape with a 59-57 victory Thursday night over Louisiana-Monroe.
UALR (12-5, 4-2 Sun Belt Conference) led 31-24 at the half after hitting 52 percent of its shots in the opening period while ULM (6-12,0-6) made just 31 percent. But the Trojans lost their shooting touch after intermission, making only 7-of-21 in the second half, while the Warkhawks improved marginally to 34 percent.
