BOONE, N.C. (AP)—Jeremi Booth scored 16 points Saturday to lead Appalachian State past North Carolina-Greensboro 91-68.
Ryann Abraham added 15 points off the bench for the Mountaineers (9-6, 4-2 Southern Conference), who used a 19-2 first-half run to take control.
Kyle Hines had 20 points to lead the Spartans (9-6, 3-3), who trailed 30-8 early and 46-30 at halftime.
Booth went 5-for-5 in the first half, including four 3-pointers, to help the Mountaineers take the early lead. UNC Greensboro closed to 11 points early in the second half, but Appalachian State responded with a 17-8 run to earn its fourth straight win.
The Mountaineers had season-high totals in points and victory margin along with 22 assists and nine blocked shots.
