STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP)—Brian Lilis scored 19 points and Brent Wilson had 18 as Albany beat Stony Brook 80-64 on Wednesday night.
Jerel Hastings and Jon Iati each had 11 points for the Great Danes (7-8, 2-1 America East), who led 42-21 at halftime.
Ricky Lucas had 15 points for the Seawolves (4-11, 1-2) while Chris Martin added 12 and Demetrius Young 10. Emanual Neto had eight points and 13 rebounds for Stony Brook.
Young’s tip-in gave Stony Brook a 10-7 lead 4 1/2 minutes into the game and Albany then closed the half on a 35-11 run. The Great Danes had five 3-pointers in the spurt, three by Wilson.
Stony Brook got as close as 65-55 on Martin’s 3-pointer with 2:58 to go.
