ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP)—Antwon Harris scored 14 points to lead Winthrop to a 78-34 win over Limestone on Wednesday night.
The 34 points scored by the Division II Saints was the least allowed by the Eagles (8-5) since losing to College of Charleston 29-23 in 1983—three years before Winthrop joined Division I.
Limestone (2-5) kept things close for a bit, trailing 19-16 with 11:46 to go. But the Eagles scored the next 20 points and led 44-20 at half.
Winthrop outrebounded the Saints 50-21 and held Limestone to 29.8 percent shooting (14-of-47) from the field. The Saints made just one of their seven free throws.
The Eagles shot 50 percent from the field (28-of-56) and foul line (12-of-24).
Byron Faison added a career-high 13 points and Michael Jenkins also added 13 for Winthrop.
Andrae Franklin led Limestone with 14 points, while Marques Williams added nine points.
