The Panthers took a 10-3 lead early. Winston-Salem, playing without injured starting guards Darius Floyd and Brian Fisher, didn’t lead until Roy Peake’s basket with 5:11 remaining in the first half put the Rams ahead 22-20. They led 35-27 at the half.
The Rams pushed their lead to 11 points in the second half, until Ferrum took that two-point lead with just over five minutes left.
