WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP)—Brian Glowiak hit all five of his 3-point shots, leading Hartford to a 67-53 win over Monmouth Tuesday night.
Glowiak had 15 points and Jaret Von Rosenberg added 13 as the Hawks from Hartford (5-6) never trailed the Hawks from New Jersey (2-7). Joe Zeglinski finished with 11 for Hartford.
Monmouth’s R.J. Rutledge led all scorers with a career-high 22 points. He was 7-for-12 from the floor.
Hartford scored the first nine points of the game and took a 38-15 lead into intermission.
Monmouth shot just 1-for-13 to open the game and committed nine turnovers in the first 13 minutes.
Hartford led by as many as 27 points, but were outscored 38-29 after intermission.
