MIAMI (AP)—Kenneth White had a career high 19 points and Erick Nsangou recorded his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds as Florida International (3-3) beat Buffalo 76-63 Wednesday night.
The Golden Panthers (3-3) shot 58.1 percent from the field while Buffalo shot 36.5 percent. A 3-pointer by Andrew Altman got Buffalo (5-4) within 1 point, 54-53 with 6:21 left. FIU finished the game on a 22-10 run, led by White and Alex Galindo who combined for 16 points.
The game was close in the first half with seven ties and eight lead changes. FIU took a 32-29 lead into halftime.
Buffalo, which snapped its three game winning streak, was led by Byron Mulkey with 10 points.
