COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Anthony Fisher scored 23 points and Tennessee Tech pulled away late in the first half for a 117-88 victory Tuesday over Bluefield.
Daniel Northern added 19 points and Amadi McKenzie 16 for Tech (2-5).
Bluefield (7-2) was led by Curtis Dixon with 21 points and Dontae Gholson with 16.
Tennessee Tech led 31-30 until going on a 21-5 run over a five-minute span late in the first half to break the game open.
Tech shot 58.4 percent to 41.3 percent for the Rams. Tech had a big advantage at the free throw line, making 19-of-33 to 6-of-12 by Bluefield.
The 205 points were the second highest total in the 31-year history of the Eblen Center.
