NEW YORK (AP)—Durell Vinson had a career-high 27 points, including 10 during a decisive spurt in the second half, to help Wagner beat William & Mary 88-81 on Tuesday night.
Mark Porter added 22 points and 10 assists for the Seahawks (2-2), who led 31-29 at the half.
Dave Schneider and Danny Sumner each had 18 points for the Tribe (0-3). Nathan Mann added 14.
With the game tied at 39, the Seahawks went on a 21-3 run to make it 60-42 with 8:44 left. Vinson closed out the spurt with a layup.
The Tribe got no closer than seven the rest of the way.
