FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP)—DaShaun Wood scored 20 points, Todd Brown added 17 and Drew Burleson scored 15 as Wright State beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 76-50 Monday night.
The Raiders (17-8, 10-2 Horizon League) started the second half with a six-point lead then outscored the Panthers 35-9 over about 14 minutes. Brown scored 13 of his points in the first five minutes of the half.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee (8-18, 5-8) held a six-point lead about 12 minutes into the game but Wright State pulled ahead less than four minutes later and the Panthers never regained the lead.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee was led by Kevin Massiah, who had eight points and a game-high eleven rebounds.
The Panthers shot about 30 percent (14-of-47) to Wright State’s 50 percent (29-of-58).
Wright State scored 24 points off turnovers to Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s nine points.
