BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP)—A.J. Ratliff scored 18 points as Indiana overcame a sluggish start to beat Charlotte 74-57 Saturday night.
Ratliff led four Hoosiers in double figures. D.J. White had 13 points, Earl Calloway had 12 and Lance Stemler 10.
Ratliff hit four 3-point shots in the first half and scored 16 points in a seven-minute stretch near the end of the first quarter as the Hoosiers (4-2) took a 36-25 halftime lead.
DeAngelo Alexander had 23 points to lead the 49ers (2-4).
Indianas bench outscored Charlottes 49-5.
