NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Justin Hare scored 14 points to lead Belmont past North Florida 87-32 Thursday night.
Belmont (4-2, 1-0 Atlantic Sun) led 45-18 at halftime and for the game scored 26 points off 18 turnovers by North Florida (1-6, 0-1).
Keaton Belcher scored 13 points and had eight rebounds for the Bruins. Matthew Dotson added another 12 points and five rebounds.
The Ospreys hit just 22 percent from the floor as no player scored in the double digits. Germaine Sparkes and James Grimball each had seven as the team’s leading scorers.
Belmont shot 63 percent from the floor in the first half, and 52 percent for the game.
The 32 points were the fewest points ever against Belmont.
