Bashir Mason added 12 points and Chaz Crawford pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds for Drexel (3-2).
Florentino Valencia had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Justin Ingram had 10 points for Toledo (2-3), which made only two of 17 shots from 3-point range.
Tyrone Kent stole the ball from Dominick Mejia and drove the length of the court to put in a layup to put the Rockets ahead 44-43 with 6:16 remaining, Toledo’s first lead since late in the first half. But Tramayne Hawthorne’s 3-pointer gave the Dragons back the lead for good with 4:40 left.
