CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP)—J.R. Reynolds and Jason Cain each had 22 points to lead Virginia to a 104-63 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Sunday in the first meeting between the teams.

The Cavaliers (4-0) led 51-33 at halftime, and kept the Hawks (0-3) to 37.3 percent from the field for the game.

Virginia, which closed out four-game homestand, scored 23 points off turnovers and racked up 54 rebounds to the Hawks’ 21.

Mamadi Diane added 17 for the Cavs and Sean Singletary had 11. Cain also had eight rebounds.

Corey Brown led Maryland-Eastern Shore with 21 points, Jesse Brooks had 20 and Antonio McMillion added 10.
