NEW YORK (AP)—Colin McIntosh scored 18 points to lead four double-figure scorers as Vermont rallied for a 77-69 victory over Wagner on Saturday.
Joe Trapani added 14 points for the Catamounts (3-2). Mike Tromboli had 12 and Chris Holm scored 10 to go with his 16 rebounds.
James Ulrich’s 15 points topped the Seahawks (1-4). Joey Mundweiler had 12.
Mundweiler’s 3-pointer capped an 8-0 second-half run to get Wagner back within 41-36 early in the second half, and Matt Vitale’s 3-pointer produced the Seahawks’ first lead, 50-49, with 13:38 remaining. The Seahawks stayed in front through 63-62 on Jamal Smith’s jumper at 6:14.
The Catamounts responded with a 9-0 run to take a 71-64 lead with 1:38 left. Holm led the way with four points during the run.
